Structural, dielectric, and electrical transport properties of Al3+ substituted nanocrystalline Ni-Cu spinel ferrites prepared through the sol–gel route

In this study, a series of nanocrystalline Ni0.7Cu0.30AlxFe2-xO4 (x = 0.00 to 0.10 with step 0.02) has been synthesized through the sol–gel auto combustion technique. The structural, morphological, dielectric, and electrical properties nanoparticles are analyzed due substitution effect Al3+ content. structural study performed XRD FTIR analyses. extracted patterns assure single-phase cubic spinel structure all samples in high crystalline nature maintaining their homogeneity. average crystallite size is found range 55.63–70.74 nm, grain varies from 59.00 65.00 nm. also confirms formation structures prepared Ni-Cu ferrite nanoparticles. surface morphology materials studied FESEM linked EDX analysis. dielectric dispersion reflected at lower frequencies up 10 kHz. impedance spectroscopy non-Debye relaxation phenomena nanomaterials. contribution grains boundaries resolved modulus materials. trend variation AC resistivity frequency explained by hopping mechanism.
